In 1948, fisherman Eli Laguna built six cedar cottages for artists escaping Hollywood. In 2019 we restored them — lime plaster, reclaimed teak, outdoor copper showers — and added six garden suites. Same soul, faster Wi-Fi.
We live on-site. We lend you our surfboards, our sourdough starter, our secret tidepool map. Morning coffee arrives in a thermos on your deck. Evenings smell of jasmine and salt. Kids hunt lizards. Dogs nap on cool tile. You finally read that book.

How close is the beach really?
Our back gate opens to Diamond St stairs — 90 seconds to Woods Cove. Lifeguarded Main Beach is 0.6 mi. We give you a laminated tide chart + snorkel map.
Is parking included? Do I need a car?
Yes, 1 free spot per cottage + free EV charging. You don't need a car: John Wayne Airport 20 min by shuttle, village walkable, e-bikes $25/day.
Are dogs allowed? What about kids?
4 cottages are dog-friendly ($65/stay, no weight limit). All cottages have cribs, high chairs, outlet covers on request. Tidepools = best free kids club.
What is your cancellation policy?
Flexible: full refund to 7 days before arrival. Inside 7 days — credit for future stay. No fees if you rebook direct.
